exhibitions
went to see Signs of a Struggle: Photography in the Wake of Postmodernism at the V&A which is a very manageable overview of post modern influence on photography in the last 30 years - some familiar but also new - particularly liked signs of struggle by Clare Strand - http://www.clarestrand.co.uk/works/?id=102
then for a complete contrast Eyewitness: Hungarian Photography in the 20th Century at the Royal Academy - wonderful seeing the iconic prints - such a wealth form the big names Brassaï, Capa, Kertész, Moholy-Nagy and Munkácsi

august kick back
Been easing off the pressure the last few weeks - still managed to shoot 3 120 colour films, some ideas for the family west photo prize and stopped this years 365 photos project. It feels a relief to create a bit of space.
